Building a Router MFT / MPT Table for Your Bora Centipede

Versitile, Flexible & Portable!

What is it?

Many woodworkers need different types of work surfaces to do their magic. Common to these are the Multi-Function Table (MFT) / Multi-Purpose Table (MPT) and the Router Table. Join Adam, Chief Mistake Officer of Sunflower Woodworking, as he takes us through how to build one table that performs all of these tasks, while remaining portable. Mounted to a Bora Centipede, you can mount your router and fence to this table to unlock the power of this tool. You can also use it to clamp down pieces while you sand, chisel, or do many more woodworking tasks!

What did we learn?

Taking from our learnings on versions 1 & 2 of these table tops, we learned how to combine these two main functions into one table. We worked with our first router lift and fence system and how to incorporate that into our MFT design.

In Closing…

Our Heavenly Father inspires us not just with the different products we make, but also in building the tools and resources we need to continue expanding our abilities. This was a great project that did just that, while allowing us to remain nimble and contained within our small space!
